Animals In Distress is a Lehigh Valley based animal shelter.
It is a non-euthanizing ,all volunteer shelter that receives no government funding,(local,state or federal).
Animals In Distress relies solely on your donations to continue its rescue and adoption work. There are
currently over 200 dogs and cats at the shelter, which is located at (5075) Limeport Pike, Coopersburg.
Shelter Store Hours: Tues. Thurs. Sat. Sun. 1-4 pm
Directions to the New Shelter
From Allentown:
Take RT 309 South and make a right on to Saucon Valley Road West.
Go to the end and make a left on to Limeport Pike. Go 1/2 mile, just
past Wedgewood Golf Course, and make a right into the first long driveway
after the golf greens.
From I-78:
Take Route 309/Allentown exit and follow above directions.
From Quakertown and Points South:
Take 309 North to Saucon Valley Road West and follow above directions.
From Bethlehem and Route 378:
Take 378 to Center Valley Parkway, make a right and continue on to Saucon Valley Road; cross 309 and go to Limeport Pike
as in above directions.
