Bobby’s looking forward to another year of fun at two tracks. He plans on racing every Saturday night at Grandview Speedway and is returning this year to Penn Can Speedway on Friday nights.

Joining Bobby on Saturday nights at Grandview Speedway is Crew Chief Brian Kriebel, and crew members Scott Romig, Barry Skriletz, and Bobby’s brother Joe Walsh. This year at Penn Can it’s a family effort. Crew Chief Stacy Fritch is joined on the crew by members of Gunther’s family. Bobby’s bother Joe, his dad Joe, his nephew Mark Kohler, and , Scott Koenig will help out with the 2011 season.

In 2009 Bobby ran his first season at Penn Can Speedway. He won two heat races, made all but two features, and considered it a good first year. In 2010 he made all but one feature, won two heat races and finished 14th in points. Penn Can is where he is having the most fun and the most success racing and he is really looking forward to a third season!

A the extremely competitive Grandview Speedway, Bobby had his second best year ever in 2009, and to top it off made the Forrest Roger’s Memorial, and the Freedom 76′r. In 2010 however, it was a struggle, and to right the ship in 2011 he has purchased a 2011 Troyer Chassis and is having it prepared by Keith Hoffman and Hoffman Speed Supplies. They have done a great job for him on his Friday night cars over the years, and it seemed like a logical choice. Gunther goes into 2011 at Grandview the most optimistic he’s ever been.
